Since the beginning of my career, Koperativa Agency has been one of my closest collaborators. Every year I create a signature illustration for them that reflects the tone, mood, and cultural context of that moment.

For 2019, the concept took a darker, more introspective mood—a departure from brightness toward something that feels more symbolic, reflective, and visually intense. Rather than a literal summary of the year, the illustration embraces metaphor, tension, and contrast to capture the feeling of that period.

The work blends expressive line work, mood-driven color, and conceptual composition to make a piece that stands on its own as both art and commentary. It’s designed for year-end sharing across social channels, print, and agency branding, reinforcing Koperativa’s voice while showcasing an expanded visual range.

The result is an illustration that doesn’t just depict a theme—it mood-sets a narrative, making it memorable and resonant for the audience.
